T.A.S.K. provides training, support, information, resources and referrals for families and professionals who work with special needs individuals. They offer a variety of workshops on relevant topics.

 

Ability First

AbilityFirst provides programs and services to children and adults with disabilities, from employment opportunities to recreational activities, in 24 locations across Southern California.

 

Village Glen

Village Glen School offers a college preparatory curriculum to students with social and communicative differences in both Sherman Oaks and in Culver City, including specialized programs for higher need individuals.

 

Summit View

Summit View School is dedicated to educating young people with learning differences who possess average to superior intellectual capabilities, offering comprehensive elementary, middle, and secondary school programs.

 

Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center

This center serves Central L.A., Pasadena, Glendale, and other areas. The centers’ mission is to provide people with disabilities access to community services and information about their disability and rights.

 

North LA Regional Center

This center serves the Antelope, Santa Clarita, and San Fernando valleys. The centers’ mission is to provide people with disabilities access to community services and information about their disability and rights.

 

Westside Regional Center

This regional center serves covers the Santa Monica and Inglewood Health Districts. The centers’ mission is to provide people with disabilities access to community services and information about their disability and rights.

 

Disabled Resources Center

DRC’s mission is to empower people with disabilities to live independently in the community, to make their own decisions about their lives and to advocate on their own behalf.

 

Exceptional Children’s Foundation

ECF's mission is to provide the highest quality services for children and adults who are challenged with developmental, learning and emotional disabilities - empowering them to reach their greatest potential.

 

UCLA Center for Autism Research and Treatment

The Center designs and tests experimental research programs, and includes programs such as an Autism Evaluation Program and social skills training programs for those with autism spectrum disorders.

 

The Help Group

A comprehensive group serving children with special needs related to autism, Asperger's disorder, learning disabilities, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, mental retardation, abuse and emotional problems.

 

CSUN

The Michael D. Eisner College of Education at CSUN provides programs to prepare highly qualified teachers, school administrators, counselors, special needs professionals, and deaf studies professionals.

 

Tierra Del Sol

Tierra del Sol Foundation serves our community by enabling individuals with disabilities to establish meaningful and productive lives and to contribute to the economic, cultural and civic vitality of their communities.
