Jewish Disability Awareness Month takes place each February in communities across the nation and the globe to inform and raise awareness in this area. The Los Angeles Jewish community effort, titled Inclusion Awareness Month (I.AM.) will include numerous events that target both professionals working with families with special needs and the general community with the goal for each to create an overall inclusive community.
Please join us for a conference that will discuss how to make the inclusion of people with disabilities a priority in your Jewish organization. Join representatives from synagogues, schools and camps from across LA for an afternoon of conversation and action. Participants will include Rabbis, Executive Directors, Religious school directors, Youth Group Directors, Day School directors, and congregational leaders. Dinner will be served.
