Etta Israel Center (Etta), founded in 1993 in Los Angeles, California, embraces people with special needs and offers services that enhance self-sufficiency, increase independence, and facilitate integration into the Los Angeles community.

Etta provides a wide array of residential, life skills and educational programs that have helped thousands of people experience the benefits of inclusion. 

We enable people with disabilities to achieve greater independence, autonomy, and inclusion. We change mindsets, raise awareness, increase sensitivity, provide inspiration. We elevate lives, and train leaders. We are a community of hope, warmth, support and expertise.

We are pleased to announce that as of October 2012, the Etta Israel Center has merged with OHEL Children’s and Family Services. OHEL and Etta share the mission of elevating the lives of individuals and families in need and integrating those challenged by disability. Read more about the merger here.
